If you are looking for a highly trained and experienced
orthopaedic surgeon in the Manchester area, look no further than the office of Vipul Dua, MD. At our practice, you will receive the highest quality care. Dr. Dua, a Board Certified orthopaedist, and our staff are all trained and experienced in their respective fields and will ensure that your visit exceeds your expectations. We want to make your visit with us as pain and anxiety free as possible. We view it as our mission to educate our patients about all of their health care options and to help guide them to choose a treatment plan that is most suitable and appropriate for their needs. We emphasize non-operative care of orthopaedic and spine injuries before a more invasive, surgical approach.
We offer a comprehensive
orthopaedic service that treats most orthopaedic or sports injuries. Dr. Dua offers his expert care to treat shoulder injuries such as rotator cuff tears. The rotator cuff is a group of tendons and muscles that connect the upper arm bone, the humerus, to the shoulder blade, the scaupla. Their function is to stabilize the shoulder and help to lift and rotate the arm. When a rotator cuff tear occurs, those arm movements are limited and/or painful. The shoulder joint is a large ball and socket joint housing the rounded head of humerus, which fits into a shallow socket in the shoulder blade. The four muscles and their corresponding tendons that create the rotator cuff (teres minor, infraspinatus, supraspinatus, and subscapularis) attach the humerus to shoulder blade with the purpose of stabilizing and keeping the arm in the socket. The shoulder is capable of extensive motion due to the complexity of the hard and soft tissues in the joint.
Your health and well-being are important to us. We will make every attempt to see you within 24 hours of your initial call and work with you to insure the best possible outcome. If you are looking for an
orthopaedist who has extensive experience and a dedicated staff to provide you with all the rehabilitative support you need, this is the practice for you.
